What it does
- 1,000+ recipes with photos — search by name or ingredient, filter by cuisine, or hit "Surprise Me".
- Save favourites, follow cooks, and build a week with the meal planner.
- Import a recipe from a link, keep a pantry, and ask "what can I make?" with what's already in there.
- Live Chef reads you through a recipe hands-free; Live scan points the camera at what you've got and works from that.
Under the hood
- React + Vite front end on Cloudflare Pages; Supabase for auth, data, and storage.
- Installable PWA with offline-ready assets and a locked design-token system.
- 1,000-recipe dataset (Wikibooks, CC BY-SA) imported into Postgres with ingredients, steps, and tags.
- Free-tier everything. Some imported recipes are still filling in prep times and tags.
